We’ll show you how!”

From basics to perfect technique

Juraj Kozák

Ski Instructor 3rd. level
Snowboard instructor 1st. level

Hi, my name is Juraj and I have been skiing since I remember.
The start was about fun and enjoyment of the snow, I gradually went racing until I slowly started to teach, when I successfully completed the course in 2014 and became an instructor. Then it all began and my dream work became a reality and an integral part of my life. Since then I have done soooo many turns, have taken other courses and I’m still trying to learn and move further.

I like to spend time in the mountains and in nature, even when there is no snow at all, but during the summer you will find me teaching and gathering experience in Australia. In Slovakia I try to pass on what I know as a trainer and examiner of the Slovak Ski Association. I enjoy every day on the hill, whether it’s on the slope, freeriding, or teaching beginners and kids.

I believe and I am convinced that we will learn a lot together, discover interesting and new places in Jasná and enjoy the lesson!

I look forward to seeing you!

Martina Kozáková

Ski Instructor 3rd. level
Snowboard instructor 1st. level

Hi! I am Martina and skiing has been a part of my life somehow since I remember.

It started as a leisure activity, then I continued between the gates, and although I decided to stop racing, I did not want to give up skiing. In 2013, I took a ski instructor level 1 course, and I didn’t know it would affect my future so much. Already after the first season I realized that it is much more than a chance to do what I like. I learned something new with each lesson, and I wanted to carry it further until one season a year was enough and I decided to fly to Australia in the summer of 2016 and teach to ski there. Until now, changing summer for winter has not bothered me. Gradually, as I reached my full education, I started to participate in the work of the Slovak Ski Association as a trainer and transfer my experience to future instructors.

I enjoy every single moment out there in the snow and I want to show you the same. It doesn't matter if your goal is to learn to stop, move up a level, or regain lost confidence. I will do everything for you to have an unforgettable feeling and couldn´t wait to get back on the skis.

I can’t wait for us to go up the slope together!

Tomáš Lizúch

Ski Instructor 1st level

Hi! My name is Tomas. I put on my skis for the first time when I was 6 years old. My family and I used to go skiing quite often and that´s where my relationship to this beautiful sport gradually developed. Over the time, snow plow was not enough for me and one day I decided that I want to ski as well as the racers who often ski next to me on the slopes. I learned a lot about skiing techniques from instructional videos on the Internet or  simply by looking at someone on the slope, skiing behind him and trying to copy his movements.

I have been spending the last years on the slope every single day, in any weather, until I told myself in early 2019 that it was time to take it to the next level. I enrolled in a ski instructor course and successfully completed.

And today I am just burning to go down the slopes together, teach you a bunch of new things and experience the adventure that you will remember for a lifetime.

Lenka Kováčiková

Ski Instructor 1st level

Hi!

My name is Lenka and I have been skiing since I was 3 years old. Since then skiing has been an inseparable part of my life. When I was 7 years old I started to devote myself to a higher level and I spent some time racing between gates. I went through many races abroad, skied a few hills, met a lot of amazing people and gained new experience in life. I managed to make it to the national team, but now it is time to move on, so I stopped  racing last year.

Since I did not want to give up skiing, I decided to spend my time on the snow with you. I love working with people and I'm such a little chatty elf. This year I attended a course of ski instructor 1st level with Slovak ski association and I can not wait to forward my knowledge and experience to you.

I spend my free time besides skiing singing, doing music and theater.

I enjoy every single turn on the hill and hope to ride and enjoy it together as much as possible. I believe we will learn a lot together, experience a lot of fun and unforgettable moments on the snow!

I am already looking forward to you!

Kristián Roth

Ski Instructor 1st level

Hello!

My name is Kristián and I have been skiing since I was a child. I have never been racing, but I absolutely love skiing. I really like adrenaline, so over time, in addition to riding on the slopes, I started to be fascinated by freeskiing as well. So here and there, you can see me skiing in the schute or snow park.

In the 2014/15 season, I successfully completed a 1st degree skiing instructor course at Slovak ski association. Since then I have been teaching every winter and I can say that I really enjoy having a hobby as a job.

I look forward to your visit and I will do everything to ensure that you will enjoy the lesson with me, learn something new and like skiing at least as much as I do!

See you in Jasna!

Lenka Baranová

Ski Instructor 1st level

Hi,

At first I didn't like skiing at all, but that changed when I started to ski with my aunt, who is also a skiing instructor and she knew very well how children should be encouraged from time to time, which sometimes include a hot chocolate or candy hidden in a pocket.

Skiing is my passion today and I will do everything to make it yours as well.

I remember my difficult beginnings, I remember a course full of training and lectures with great people; I remember the enjoyment of skiing on beautiful empty slopes.

Who knows, maybe one day you'll also say that being a ski instructor isn't a bad idea at all and your path will be very similar to mine.

So book a lesson, we will improve your skills or we will start from the basics, but I will excite you for skiing from the beginning!

Tereza Maťková

Ski instructor 1st. level

Hi, my name is Tereza.
I have been around skiing since I was three years old. My beginnings were about discharging excess energy, but today it’s about love for mountains, recharging my batteries and days full of adventure.

I started by racing in the gates, later training children in the ski club, tried out off-piste skiing and currently teach as an instructor. I attended a level 1 instructor course from Snowline, thanks to which I can teach people from all over the world. I teach in Slovak, English and understand Polish.

Jasná is the center where I grew up and skied the slopes since I was a kid. I will show you our hills, slopes and new points of interest in any weather. I hope that you will not only learn a lot, but we will have a good time together. I look forward to seeing you 🙂

Vladimíra Goňová

Ski Instructor 1st level

Hi, my name is Vladimira.

I tended to the white slopes like anyone else at this area since childhood. Short or long turn, parallel or snowplow. I am an instructor and trainer in a ski club where I try to pass all my experience, advice and observations, which I had the opportunity to gain as an active racer.

I always try to do things responsibly, with passion and smile on my face.

Come and see for yourself.  You won't regret!

Casper Monshouwer

Ski Instructor 3rd. level
Snowboard instructor 2nd. level

My name is Casper Monshouwer and I come from the Netherlands!

My parents took me skiing when I was 2 years old and I have been skiing ever since. We don't have any mountain regions in the Netherlands but what we do have are dry-slopes. This is where I have learned and practiced race skiing. I even won the Dutch Nationals.

My instructing life started really early due to the dry-slope nearby where I grew up. I was able to start an internship at the age of 14. This is where my passion for skiing developed into a passion for instructing. At the age of 17 I was able to start my educational journey in Austria. Now at the age of 26 I am training to obtained the highest Austrian skiing qualification (Staatlich geprüfter Skilehrer) which I am hoping to accomplish this season.

I have instructed for 11 years in Holland, Austria and Australia and my plans are to do this for a few more years to come.

I love to instruct anyone at any level. It doesn't matter if it is an introduction to skiing or powder skiing. I can help at any level!
